We will then embark on an extraordinary adventure through the MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development, which conducts world-class interdisciplinary research that advances knowledge and finds sustainable solutions to practical problems concerning human interactions, new technologies, and our interaction with the environment. A research briefing from MARCS Director, Professor Kate Stevens and updates from postdoctoral fellows particularly showcasing the aged care research of the MARC AgeLab and the Institute’s strength in cognitive neuroscience will enrich you afternoon.

Our journey continues as we explore the National Institute for Complementary Medicine (NICM), Australia’s leader in integrative and complementary medicine. NICM plays a critical role in ensuring Australians have access to reliable evidence on complementary medicines and treatments in wide use. A research briefing and NICM facility tour will be provided by Prof Dennis Chang and Vice Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellows, showcasing research that advances our knowledge and understanding of natural and traditional medicine and promotes evidence-based integrative healthcare
