OnAIR Virtual Platform

what equipment do i need to access the virtual platform?

  • Please note that GOOGLE CHROME is the ONLY compatible browser for the OnAIR Platform. We ask that you do not use Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox.
  • A computer, laptop or tablet (Note: the platform does not work on mobile phones)
  • A stable internet connection (we recommend a hardwired internet connection, as wi-fi connections can cause disruption to streaming. We also suggest closing any unused browsers/programs on your computer that could be draining your internet bandwidth)
  • Audio/microphone (computer speakers and microphone are great, and a headset is recommended if possible)
  • Video/webcam (not mandatory for attendees but handy if you wish to connect with other attendees via the meeting hub or attend exhibitor meetings)

HOW DO I SIGN IN?

To access the OnAIR Virtual Platform, locate the welcome email sent to the email address that was used for registration. Click the link and sign in with your email address and PIN provided in the welcome email. This email will be sent to the week before the conference.

When first logging into the conference portal you will be prompted to enable the webcam and microphone. If you have not connected to a virtual event before, you will need to check that your camera and microphone are set to 'allow' connection.

You will also be asked to confirm your privacy settings.

I AM HAVING TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH THE PLATFORM

Live Support will be available and can be accessed by clicking on 'Live Support' on the right in the main banner. When you type and submit your request a member of the event support team will respond. Please do not contact the ARMS or CASE team with  technical support questions, as we will be running the Live virtual event.

MY INTERNET IS WORKING BUT I AM HAVING A/V ISSUES ON THE MAIN STAGE

EventsAIR provides two backup streams that may solve your Audio or Video issues. To change your stream, click "Audio/Video Issues?" under the main stage screen, then select the next backup stream. Please see the example below.

WILL ATTENDEES BE ABLE TO ASK QUESTIONS DURING SESSIONS?

Absolutely! You can ask questions via the Q&A box in the session as well as communicate with other delegates in the Discussion Forum.

WHAT IS THE MEETING HUB?

The Meeting Hub allows you to connect and communicate with other delegates. You can search for delegates, and contact them via video call, chat & message as well as 'connect' with them by clicking on the Connect button (when you connect this way, you can choose to interact with your connection by live chat or video call, schedule one-on-one meetings at a future time, send messages and take notes. Contact information for all attendees you have connected with is included when you export your contacts).

ONAIR 3D PLATFORM

For the 2022 Virtual Conference, we will again be utilising the Events Air OnAIR Platform.

The OnAIR platform allows virtual attendees to watch live, pre-recorded and on demand event content. OnAIR also allows attendees to connect with the other virtual attendees, exhibitors and speakers in a simple interactive way.

Please watch the following video that highlights all the features through the OnAIR platform.
